Jared McPhee has been selling and servicing the rural community for over 20 years within the car and farm machinery industries. Owning Balclutha Motors was a natural progression to continue the relationship built over so many years. Formed and purchased in 2011, Balclutha Motors Group continues to be a market leader today.
Jared believes having happy staff is the key to having happy customers. With a team of over twenty staff across sales, service, parts, Caltex, TyreLAND, and admin, the team works hard to give customers the best possible experience.
When it comes to business, Jared says, ‘the only thing that means anything in this business is the people, whether they’re staff or customers, and that’s where our business comes from. So, we can continue to grow and innovate our business.'
It is important to him that both he and his businesses have a good reputation by providing quality service. He’s in it for the long haul and believes long-term relationships are the key to success.
Married to Karla, they have two young children. Jared continues to be involved in many community groups and trusts such as Clutha Development, Chair of Clutha Parks Trust, Clutha Licensing Trust and the local rugby club.
